A good vitamic C serum is an antioxidant, it should not oxidize that quickly unless you're using old serum or buying from a really crappy brand. Timeless is a good brand with a very stable product, how old is the bottle? It's also theoretically possible that another ingredient in the serum is not reacting well with your skin, but tbh those are just sebaceous filaments and I find it odd that you didn't have them before using a vit C serum but now you do. Are you sure they're new?

I've heard this a lot with vitamin c and I think because vitamin c oxidises quickly and blackheads are basically black because the melanin found in the sebum oxidises. So I think the vitamin c promotes oxidisation of the sebum quicker. Can you use something else on your nose or not apply it on the nose?

When I went from 20% to 15% it made a difference. And I have found out that if you use Clarisonic, which does a deep clean, when you apply vitamin C, it can give you blackheads if you apply a lot on. I was told that you have to apply vitamin C very lightly and that is enough.
